During this Tango holiday week, in addition to focusing on dance technique, special attention is given to dancing with the music as a shared source of inspiration. Everyone is welcome to participate. Besides the group lessons, there is plenty of time for individual attention, with both instructors adapting to each participant’s level of experience. We prefer registrations in pairs, either as a couple or a temporary dance partner. If you register alone, we will check if there is someone you can be paired with to ensure the group has an even number of participants. All combinations are possible and workable in dancing.

There are two lessons per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the evening, there is a guided práctica, where everyone can practice and process what has been covered in their own way with our support. Additionally, the dance floor is open for free dancing and enjoyment. Throughout the week, various themes will be explored: essential elements that shape our dance, such as finding connection within the couple, movement motifs, communication, experiencing the music together, improvisation, and, of course, enjoyable and useful Tango moves.

Parallel to this Tango week for dancers, CultinationaL in collaboration with Studio Harcigny is organizing a Tango week for musicians in the neighboring village, led by Kay Sleking. This is an outside opportunity to meet and inspire each other during the week with dance and live music. At the end of the week there will be a dance night together with the Tango musicians, led by Kay Sleking at the local wine merchant.

Stefan & Marian have developed their own approach to dance, seeking optimal movement dynamics and expression in flexible close embrace. Starting from a delicate and subtle connection, they use their deep understanding of basic motifs to challenge and reinvent familiar movements. In their classes, they strive to give each dancer the freedom needed to work with the partner in a dynamic yet relaxed way to transform the music into movement. They have been working together for over 13 years and in addition to special workshops and seminars, they give weekly classes in Nijmegen and Eindhoven and Tilburg.
